1. General Policy
All payments on RestInPeace.ng are for digital services including obituary listings, featured placements, and memorial enhancements. Once a paid listing has been reviewed and published, the service is considered delivered.
Refund eligibility depends on the type of service purchased and the status of the delivery.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:

3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not provided for:
- Successfully published premium listings
- Change of mind after content publication
- Delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate user submissions
- Third-party vendor services (handled directly with vendor)
- Low visibility, limited views, or low engagement on a listing
- Digital downloads such as memorial printing templates (if offered)
- Add-ons already completed (e.g., photo edits, family tree setup)
Because obituary listings are instantly visible and shareable, service delivery begins immediately.
4. Vendor Marketplace Purchases
Orders placed with funeral vendors (e.g., caterers, coffin makers, photographers, printers) are governed by their own refund policies.
RestInPeace.ng is not responsible for:
- Vendor pricing
- Service quality
- Delivery timelines
- Contract disputes
We may, however, mediate and help escalate complaints against abusive or fraudulent vendors.
5. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:

- Email used for purchase
- Transaction receipt or payment reference
- Reason for refund request
- Clear proof (if applicable)

Approved refunds will be issued via:
- Bank transfer
- Card reversal (subject to bank timeline)
- Mobile wallet refund (if used for payment)
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us first to resolve any billing issue.
Unauthorized or unjustified bank chargebacks may:
- Delay refund processing
- Lead to account suspension
- Lead to legal claims for dispute resolution costs
